Handgun Roster Question

I'd like to buy a Bersa Thunder 9mm Ultra Compact. It isn't on the California Handgun Roster. I think it was listed at one time. If I were to find one for sale from a private party in this state would I be legally able to do a private party transfer through a FFL. Thanks, Bupkus.

Yes - Private Party Transfers for handguns between California residents are not subject to the Roster...

Absolutely, Private party transfers are exempt from the list. The Roster only discriminates from New guns sold from an FFL inventory. Good luck with your search.

oops, just started a new thread but I think this one answered my question. OP-I'm not trying to hijack the thread....I just wanted to ask if anyone knows if a PPT transfer could be done legally with a person out of state with a gun not on the roster. don't mean to intrude, just can't find a solid answer.
