Does anyone know where I can get this for a glock?

I came accross this piece! it looks great, they were selling it for $60 and advertised it to fit a 1st and 2nd gen Glock. I shot a email over to them and im waiting for a reply. the way im thinking is, if there is ONE company doing this, im sure there is more. Does anyone know of any other places that have a familiar rail? I know there is one rail system that goes around the trigger guard, but that is WAAAAAYYYYYY too bulky. Think this piece will fit on better.
Could there be any made for 3rd and 4th get too?

quick google give this (and others)

3rd and 4th gen Glocks already have rails from the Glock standard rail to picatinny (1913).

How is it supposed to be attached? Not permanently I imagine as it would obscure the serial number.
