you can find TLR-1 for around 65-75 bux if you know where to look. im talking about a used one with LED.

Try Optics Planet... I recently got one for about $105 shipped.

There is a significant difference between the older version with the older style LED and the newer C4 version. The brightness difference is noticeable... whether it makes a difference in a real world situation is another matter.

I think some people are forgetting about the S in there. This is a whole new version, C4 LED with around 30-40 more lumens, and a strobe feature. I couldnt imagine I over paid by that much, now 40-50$ I could chew on that.
