I got this SGS style comp. off the beretta forum above. It works great and looks even better. They are not cheap but they are VERY well made.

Beautiful grips Un-Bulletproof! Here's my 92 with an original SGS comp. I bought it for $50 and sold it for ten times more.

There were 3 problems with it. One, the contact point between the bottom side's of the comp and the Beretta's dust cover, will mar the dustcover. Two, the carbon build up on the front of the frame below the barrel will be severe. Three, the rounds made contact with the comp inside spreading my groups widely. Other then that, it looks great.

Thanks 69! Funny u say that, I just sold those. Nice for a safe queen but when I started shoot'n more I needed some grip and those babies are slick, literally! I have the hogue wraps on now. As for the comp. I have sticky felt between the comp. and dust cover, over 500 rounds without a mark. Dirty as hell though I agree. And no bullet contact for me but your not the first person I've heard that from. But it's a cool look all-n-all. Thanks again for the kind words my friend.

Your welcome. By the way, did you buy the comp because of "The Professional" also? LOL

Now if only someone would make a comp for my Px4. Those .40s could use a bit of compensation >.>

Sounds dangerous having the felt between the comp and dust cover. It's not suppose to have too much side to side movement.

The new compensators are suppose to have a slightly larger hole than the original SGS compensators to take care of the bullet contact problem. I had to grind a tiny bit off of my SGS to get rid of the contact issue.

Yes, that darn felt... The gap is .004 on each side so I had to lay the felt on my garage floor and hammer it flat(what a pain to get it right). It was a tip from another beretta forum member. It's worked so far and stop the right side roll And your right about the clearance.. Ric made the port and bushing bigger... There is a CRAPLOAD of info about every step of his hard work on that site
