hand cycling 1911 question

I'm cycling some snap caps through my kimber tle with 3 mags, oem kimber, wilson etm, and cmc power mag 10. i notice that in the CMC, the round rim will not slide under the extracter resulting in an out of battery with extracter claw resting against the rim of the cartridge. it doesnt do this on the wilson or even the stock mag.

when slingshotting, the round is loaded properly but I"m afraid that the extractor is going up on over the rim instead of the rim sliding underneath the extracter when loaded.

whats the verdict?

Snap-cap or live round... never "ride" the slide down. Always slingshot it. The spring is there for a reason.

+1 that's what it's designed to do.

First, always slingshot, just like you shut the car door. I admit that I did ride the slide down before .
Second, between the 3 mag, the CMC power mag is the strongest spring, when you gently ride the slide down, the stiff spring push the snapcap stuck to the extractor.
Third, you can also press down the slide stop to forward the slide.
