    Crimson Trace?

Anyone have any experience with these? Are they worth the money?

They are pretty cool but I don't always use the laser. Get one with a switch.

    What kinda gun?

I have a set on my P220. They work good. Very reliable and super accurate.

The only issue I have, is the lens on mine gets fouled after about 50rds. CT sent me a bunch of these little q-tip things for free to clean it though, so it's no big deal.

I was hesitant to try them at first, but now I've got a set on my Ruger LCP and 92FS...on a pistol carried or kept expressly for self-defense purposes, I wouldn't have it any other way. They really help with getting on target, especially in low-light and/or stress situations. On the LCP in particular, the sights are barely adequate and the CTG allow much more accurate shot placement.

Another aspect that I didn't consider at first is that they allow accurate shot placement when you're shooting from awkward positions, like from behind cover/concealment.

If you decide to buy some, make sure you contact CTG via their 800 #, you get "Batteries for Life" which is a free set when you call to sign-up (there's no cost to sign-up) and one free set per year for life...pretty cool.
You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.
        Come on...what harm??

I have a set on my Beretta. It's great! Beats tritium night sights for you don't have to hold the pistol up and obstruct your field of view when in urgent situations. If you have it zeroed in properly.

I shot two of my bro in laws guns with them. I found them quite useful. Something that really helped was noticing where the laser went on recoil. I then tried to keep that movement to a minimum.

oh, it's also a great tool for trigger control practice when drying firing. You can see the dot when the trigger breaks and how much or which way the dot moves.

What's the process if I want to put a set on my EB, since it has an ambix safety?

                      Thanks

I did, they said I'd have to grind the rt safety down, but didn't know how much, saying each model is different. I was hoping someone had installed a set on an EB KC, and could give me an idea of how much, or some pointers on what they found when they went to do it.

I have some on my Wilson that has an ambi safety and the ambi safety had to be cut to get out of the way of the laser housing. I had Wilson do it for a nominal price.

I think they are a good idea but I don't rely on them as my primary sighting tool as they may fail at the most inopportune time.

I have had them for 3 years, still zero out without adjustments.

I've had a set on my Sig P226 for about 4 years, and they are very useful. They should be used as an aid to normal shooting and don't replace sound fundamental shooting skills. As a practice aid, they have a number of uses. A laser can also be used as a primary sight in some very unique and useful shooting methods. You do have to train and learn how to use them. Once you do that, you can put quite a few shots on target very quickly from some very awkward positions.
My experience with Crimson Trace laser sights is that they are rugged and pretty much maintenance free. Great value and very useful tool.

From looking at it, was there a lot of grinding done for the fit?
