Has this been posted here? Surely it has, but to be safe I'll put it up again.
I called all of these assemblymen, and I don't think it is looking good at this point. The assembly people from San Fran and San Mateo (Amniano and Hill) sound like definite no votes, I couldn't get through to the GOP members, I left recordings.
Beal from San Jose sounds as if he is still thinking it over, and the other democrats listened and logged my opinion but would not indicate which way their assembly person was leaning.
Five Democrats, 2 Republicans on this committee, is it any wonder nothing good comes to this state anymore.
I actually got into an argument with Skinner representitive, I was told carrying concealed would make me no safer than carrying exposed. I replied that carrying open causes panic and keeps LEO responding to paniced "man with a gun" calls, besides, if you advocate open carry, why not concealed. Then he dropped the bomb on me..."open carry is in the 2nd amendment, concealed carry isn't."
When I told him that was BS, I was told to have a nice day.
