Finally got around to taking a few pics tonight of my G21 Longslide. No, it's not factory, the slide is from Germany, in case you were wondering. The bbl is 6" and made from KKM. Front sight is fiber optic, and rear is adjustable. It I really like it, it shoots better than I can and the .45 recoil seems less to me, possibly from the slightly heavier weight...or maybe it's just psychological. Anyway, enjoy.

Neat, I never knew a 45acp version was able to be made up. I've always wanted a longslide Glock, I ran out of $ and passed a M24 at $500, there was 2 of them too at a local dealer.

Beautiful longslide! Can you tell us more about the slide?

The slides were imported from Oberland Arms in Germany. I think there were about 100 of them imported into the US. Lone wolf and Bar-Sto was selling them, but they sold out back around Sept. 2006. KKM was selling a a 45/10 bbl for the slide also, it would allow you to fire 10MM out of it by just changing out the mag. They talk about these over on glocktalk often, but I thought I would share it with my fellow calgunners.

10mm Longslide is on my short list when or if Glock ever makes one. I don't have the cash it seems to take to build one.

The slides, when you could buy them, would run you around $750 to complete as an upper ready to slap onto your G21 lower. The one I have has the upgraded front fiber optic sight.

I had never heard of them either until I saw a thread by ColoradoGlocker on glocktalk. As soon as I saw his post, I knew I wanted one. Don't regret getting it for a second, I love it!

At first I could not afford one of the uppers, then when I could, they were out of stock so I put this together. The comp bolts on to the barrel so it's CA compliant. Not exactly a longslide but I love the way it shoots. That's a plus 3 mag extension and Wolf spring that I added to my legally owned mag so it holds 16 rounds of 45. It's one of my favorites. Are the long upper slides currently available again?
