My first Sig

I just got my new sig and only have about 300 rounds through it. I was curious what, if any, suggestions you all might have to make it a little "better". Thanks for the help!!

There really isnt anything you can do to make it better... It's good out of the box..

Very nice. Only real thing I can suggest changing right out of the box is wiping off all the factory grease and lather on some Slide Glide. Other than that, a Sig comes stock, pretty much ready to rock and roll.

The only real change I got for my 226 stainless is I'm still waiting for my Hogue Aluminum grips to arrive. Hogue has been lagging. The G10s are nice too. I'm not a huge fan of the stock plastic grips that come with these Sigs (tried em out for a year, still about the only thing I'm not a huge fan of on my Sig).

Theres nothing more it needs its a great gun.

Help it out by pulling out the knife you stuck in it

Clean it up a little.

Its good shooter. You could try adding a front night site. Swap out the plastic recoil spring guide with a stainless steel one. Polish the feed ramp and throat the barrel. Just my two cents.

That Sig is hard to improve on.... The just get better the more you shoot them...

I just change the recoil spring every 5,000 rounds... Some people never change them...

I like mine stock out of the box, I even like the stock plastic grips for some reason. It's my favorite out of my collection and always goes to the range with me. Good choice.

I can't wait to pick-up my P226R 9mm in 7 days. I should've bought it 2 years ago, but I got the Mosquito instead ... not that my Mosquito hasn't been a good 1st Sig either, mine actually is reliable.

Admittedly, I do kinda wish I got my 226 in 9mm instead. I probably wouldn't have even gotten a .22lr conversion kit for it. Mags would have been cheaper because I could easily purchase CA legal ones by Mec-Gar (they don't make 10rd 40s for some reason). I was just under the mindset of getting as much "firepower" under CA's standards.
