sig p229 compensator

I was wondering if they make a compensator in the black finish like they have on the sig p229 sports (i think). and if so where can one pick one up. wasnt able to find anywhere on line that sold that exact one...i would prefer it to be made by sig or something like that.

Have you ever shot a P229Sport?
And to original poster: I believe you might find an answer on sigforum. Do a search, you might have some luck. I think I remember reading about a few folks who morphed their 229ST's into Sports.

lol, yeah I have and it shot very well. I guess I'm more confused with everyone sticking compensators on 1911s and what not. Anyway, it was a question not an attack.

Whoops, I just reread your thread. I would be surprised if Sig made a compensator in black, I do not think I have ever seen it.
But, you could always have it refinished, no?

Just got off the phone with sig and they stated they do not have that gun or compensator and they said they did not think I would be able to find it anywhere...

Unless you manage to dig up a used 229Sport or a compensator from someone who oddly decided they didn't like it on there.
