Reducing the Trigger pull on the Tokarev?

Does anyone know how or who can reduce the trigger pull and trigger creep on a tokarev in the Orange county area? I like shooting the 7.62x25 caliber as it's much cheaper to shoot than 45 ACP though the trigger on the tokarev can be a bit heavy.

Just get a like new Rom Tok from IO. Very smooth light crisp trigger.
Or maybe your parts are worn.

Mmmm, maybe just the surplus quality trigger spring. I have a Norinco Tok. The trigger is pretty light, but a bit gritty and don't break all that crisp.

Only smith I know at your area is Bolsa. And I will recommend again them. If you don't might drive up to LA, Bain and Davis Sportsman have great smiths there.

If you decide to come up for B & D, please let me know the outcome. I might do the same.

it may seem counterintuative but ive made guns have a smoother trigger by pushing the hammer foward while dryfiring it a few times

the theory is that the extra force on the sear will smooth out roughness

i had a smith and wesson auto that had a horible single action it was so bad that after the first shot i would prefer to decock and double action the second

i pushed on the hammer while dry firing about 100 times and it felt great from then on

Hmm... Interesting suggestion, I may have to try this when I get the time, though I'd probably feel better knowing a gunsmith did the trigger and not myself .

            Bohoki,
What you are doing is called "boosting" and it does smooth out minor roughness by smearing the metal ridges down a little.

Anyone else have any suggestions or recommend any gunsmiths in the area?
