Kimber 22lr Conversion kit

HI...

I am thinking about get Kimber 22lr Target Conversion kit for Turner's that have for sale for 299
but I have some Q about this kit

1- have anyone use this kit for other 1911 gun THAT NOT Kimber? any porblem fitting ? or is just most drop in ?

2- how is it ? what ammo this kit Like and DID'T like ... I should know ?

3- what other 22LR Conversion that U would like to use and how much ?

4- which ammo should be use with this

I have the Kimber .22 conversion for my Kimber Team Match. I've found it to function reliably and shoot very accurately. It outshoots my Ruger Mark II Target pistol. I primarily shoot Federal Champion Value Pack 36 gr rounds which shoots nice tight 1" groups at 7 yds. There are better ammo's such the Federal Gold Medal Match, Aguila Match or Wolf Match (German Mfr) that will shoot better, but more $. It has adjustable sights similar to my Team Match, which is nice. Only downer is that the slide doesn't lock to the rear after the last round - but many conversion kits don't have this feature. Hope this helps.

The conversion fit my SW1911, Kimber raptor, SA 1911 GI but not my Les Baer.
CCI minimag never jam in that Kimber conversion, Federal, Remington sometimes, not much.

Just threw mine on the RIA tactical that I just picked up today, haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but it fit with no issues. Picked my conversion up lightly used last week from a guy in the bay area.
