    Secuity with gun card

consider that some armed secuity allows you to carry whichever pistol you perfer (as long as the cal. is listed on your gun card), I was wondering is it possible for them to carry legal Uzi, Mac11, or DSA PT-9? I'm pretty sure that will draw attention to LE.

As former armed security, your guard and gun card does not permit you to LOC except when on-duty for a Private Patrol Operator. PPOs restrict which weapon you may carry under the caliber listed on your gun card.

In general, if it cannot be carried in a holster on a Sam Browne Belt, you would not be permitted to carry it.

I believe the weapons you list are assault weapons in CA; and the Gun card does not exempt a person from the assault weapons laws.

Bad idea - and it only gets worse from there.
The way some gunshop clerks spout off, you'd think that they invented gunpowder and the repeating rifle, and sat on the Supreme Court as well.

Additionaly you must be either on duty at the time or en route to or from work. No exceptions. You cannot simply carry exposed when you wish. And no, the above weapons would not only draw attention from LE they are tacticaly a bad idea and a liability even if you could carry them. No Security company in their right mind would allow something like that in a duty holster even if the state did.
