Handgun question

I remember someone saying that there is a pistol which is on the approved roster yet there is another model of the same pistol but it has a thumb safety yet is not on the list. Does anyone know what pistol I am referring to? I want to use it in a speech I have to give tomorrow to point out the stupidity in californias gun control legislation

I concur with the above but I think it is only in the 45acp. I don't think there is a thumb safety model in the 9mm and 40cal.

you're thinking of the Springfield XD...they only offer the thumb safety on their XD45

Yes you are right, when they first came out the 45 was the only one with the thumb safety option but now they all can be had with the thumb safety... MY BAD......
