Help with TT-33

I was wondering if any of you have some insight into a problem I am experiencing with my Romanian TT-33. After every shot the slide retainer engages and I have to release it in order for the slide to go forward and have it chamber the next round. I suspect the Slide Retainer Clip might be worn out or damaged but I suppose it might be a magazine issue too. This happens with rounds left in the magazine.

What do you guys and gals think?

I appreciate any and all help with this problem!

You meant the slide will lock back ever round fired right? If so, try with different magazine. If you only have one magazine, inspect the magazine around the follower to see if there is any part that's bend.

From what you described, it sounds like either the follow has bend up which engaged slide stop after every shot or the magazine body didn't get cut correctly. It should not be slide stop issue for TT-33 design the slide stop is always on rest unless magazine follow push it up.

There two tt-33 threads with problems in the handgun section. Seems like they sold a bad batch

Yeah, it seems awfully coincidental. To give an update, I looked at the magazines and they appear to be fine. I noticed that the add-on safety seemed to be interfering with the slide lock to I took it off and tested the gun but no dice. I ordered a new slide lock retaining clip and I'll try that.
