    Which would you choose

I have the opportunity to purchase one of these four pistols and would like your input.

There really is no intended purpose for the pistol other than having fun and taking out to the range (oh, and increasing the cache by 1 ). Let's pretend that they are all the same price so cost is not a factor. Basically I guess I am asking which is your favorite piece out of the four?

Out of these four pistols which would you choose?
    1. Browning Hi-Power
    2. Beretta - 92F (not an FS)
    3. Walther - PPK
    4. Smith & Wesson - 4506

    Beretta - 92F

    Caliber war?

    .380 vs 9mm vs. 40 vs. 45?

I'd personally would go with the Beretta for an all around gun

You're bringing up guns in cinema and you decide on the Beretta?!?! James Bond carried a PPK for ~19 movies, and the name Walther PPK is commonly said in them!

        Get the Beretta.

You neglected to mention the SIG P226, P229.

I have the P226 in 9mm, and the P229 in 40SW and would say they are both very accurate pistols and the best value for the green.

These are all available to me via a PPT, no Sigs in the lot (otherwise I would snatch it right up)

As far as handguns go; I already have a Sig 228, Colt Python 2.5", S&W Model 41 and SA GI.45.

To me the S&W 4506 and the 92F make the most sense since I am already buying those calibers. But since when was buying guns supposed to make sense? I really like the thought of the Hi-Power, because they carry such a good reputation, the 92F and PPK are no longer in production but you just can't beat a .45. So you see my predicament and I forgot to mention the Hi-Power is like new in box..

This is like a bad game of "would you rather".

I'd go with the Beretta as my first choice, and then the 4506 S&W because detective Vic Mackey from "The Shield" carries one.

I guess you can tell what my favorite T.V. show is huh...???

If you want an old-school classic, the Hi-Power's the only one on your list, and that's what I'd get out of the lot (but I'd prefer it in 9mm). The 92F style is one of those guns that everyone should own once they get past their first 10 semi-autos. PPK has too many bad reviews for my tastes, though I wouldn't turn one down for free, and I don't trust most S&W semi-autos in general.
