    Colt Python trigger

Is it worth having a gunsmith go through my Python trigger assembly and who do you recommend in the Bay Area to do it?

D.R.E. is a member here from the Bay Area. He will probably recommend Frank Glenn

Yes, there is a HUGE difference.

Don't know a Python smith in the Bay Area.

Thanks for the link, it looks like my snake is going to Arizona on vacation.

Randy is beyond excellent and most of my S&Ws and semi-autos go to him. He won't do Colts though. For a Colt, you need a Colt smith.

I have a bunch of tuned colts if you want to check the feel of different methods.

Note that when many smiths tune colts for DA they may leave the SA worse for liability reasons (fixing this requires modifying the cocking notch in the hammer).
