I am gearing up to convert a govt caspian frame to a commander frame with the help of the folks at caspian and building a stainless commander in 9mm with a bar sto barrel and all the best parts, my quandry is to bobtail or to not bobtail??? It willl be free of markings on the slide, ball cut on the front of the slide and no front serrations on the slide. I am also debating on leaving it stainless, bead blasting it, or blackening it when I am finished.
