Les Baer question...

I've been thinking again of getting a Les Baer but I haven't really decided on which model yet. I'm looking at the Custom Carry, PII and TRS.

I have a question though, can I order these guns without front cocking serrations and without any labels/engravings on the slide? Or am I stuck with the standard CC, PII and TRS? It's really not a deal breaker, but I just wanted to know my options before plunking almost $2k for a gun.

Check with John at Proload. You will have to arrange with FFL to receive from out of state. Not sure about any other markings. You can get without FCS. Picking mine up today..

Congratulations! I mainly want it without the FCS, so that's good already in my book. I might call next week if I have a specific model in mind already.

Ah, just talked to John and looks like I might be ordering one soon. I just can't decide if I want a nice clean slide without FCS or a standard CC or TRS without the FCS. If I wanted the slide without any markings, it will take 12-16 weeks, which I know is fast for a semi-custom, but I'm not sure if I can wait that long

I prefer the FCS personally, makes it easier to chamber check and I don't mind not looking like every other 1911.
