I don't know, I just like to have the ability to show my credentials if or when something came into question.

FYI- If you have a CCW you don't need the HSC to buy a handgun...

Does that only apply to California CCW or Any State issued CCW? Just wondering because a friend of mines just received his UTAH CCW and wants to purchase a new handgun.

Maybe this would save him some $$$ from taking the HSC test?

CA does not currently honor any out-of-state CCW.
