    Vector Arms V51 .308 pistol

Just saw this thing on Atlantic Firearms website. I don't know why, but I kinda want one! It's pretty cool AND ridiculous at the same time - cooldiculous! ...and luckily you can drop in the ol' full-auto sear where applicable, cuz I know I want .308 comin' out of something this small as fast as possible!

$1499 plus some CA single-shot conversion costs and you're good to go!

    V 51

Atlantic Arms told me in writing they would not ship one of these pistols to CA using a 1 shot pistol exemption.

I'll bet they'd ship one to an FFL not in CA who would single shot it and then send to CA.

wow! That would be a BEAST to control in FA fire! lol
I guess if you dont hit them with the bullet then you'll still cause 3rd degree burns from the powder burns... ?!

            Ah crap.

I think I may want one too. If my ACOG doesn't fall thru then I'm getting one.

            Seriously.

Why do you not ship 12133PC-compliant single-shot pistols to CA FFLs?

Other vendors do, including Robinson Armament, LWRC and various FFLs.

If it's a matter of cost of conversion, charge the customer extra for any BulletButton variant maglock, a single-shot sled or zero-round-blocked magazine - still less grief than going thru a secondary middleman FFL.

The Calguns Foundation will represent your company, the CA FFL and your end customer should any drama occur relating to Roster matters for a properly configured Roster-exempt non-AW firearm.

Just remember that single-shot status should be configured before the firearm enters CA, not by the recipient CA FFL afterward.

Wow, that's a very nice offer - thanks for the encouragement and backing of outside vendors that are willing to ship to CA!

So did you even end up getting it? I would really like to know how well it fires and how much the final cost was to get one.

Vector has a good reputation, and I've fired a SBR K of theirs with a registered sear-pack - it ran 100%

No reason the pistol version shouldn't be of the same quality, but I'll warn you in advance that 7.62 out of a tube that short is just as brutal as you'd imagine.
The way some gunshop clerks spout off, you'd think that they invented gunpowder and the repeating rifle, and sat on the Supreme Court as well.

Yeah I figured it would, but I have a cetme and I'm not sure but I think it takes the same clips, which would be very convenient.
