    Turner's have 22A 5' 1/2 for sale for $199, should I get it . it will be my first 22lr. just want to have some 22lr for cheap ammo cost.
    I not plan to shoot that much because my job keep me of shooting rang, may be like 2000/year or less or 100/ year do not know yet.

    they are a great and accurate gun. I liked mine as much as a ruger mk2

      .22 A1 is OK pistol for that price. The magazine release is in a weird place on front of grip.
      If you want super accurate .22 go with a K22 revolver.
      Only thing wrong with k22 is it will cost you $400.00 or more.

        I have a 22a i like it it was one of those special make up ones turners had a few years ago with 5 1/2 barell wood grips and fiber optic sight ive had no problems with it it was like $249.00

          Several years ago, people complained that they weren't very reliable, but those complaints seem to have dropped a lot. Most people are happy with them these days.

          For $199, I'd jump on it. You can't get a decent new .22 for less, and you can never have too many .22s!

              I voted no in the poll before I read your post completely. For 199 it would make an ok plinker, it's not a target gun.....

                I'd spend $70 to $100 more for a 22/45 ruger or entry level buckmark. Ammo cost isn't much of a consideration, so put more money into the pistol.

                hell, I've seen $200 deal on used rugers and brownings. S&W model 41 in .22 is where it is at if you can spend the money, next best thing are pistols in the $300-$600 range.
