    .22 semiauto

What is the smallest/thinest .22 lr semi pistol out there? I've seen a few in .22 short on GB, but nothing in .22 lr. Walther PP in .22 lr is too large for my need. Thanks.

Most civilization is based on cowardice. It's so easy to civilize by teaching cowardice. You water down the standards which would lead to bravery. You restrain the will. You regulate the appetites. You fence in the horizons. You make a law for every movement. You deny the existence of chaos. You teach even the children to breathe slowly. You tame.

Just got mine from Turners. Havent shot it yet, but seems pretty solid for the price. Heavy little sucker though, think it weighs as much as my Glock 19 (unloaded).

There is a W. German Walther TPH for sale in the "for sale" section of this forum. Very flat, palm sized and extremely reliable with most 22lr ammo. The seller is up in Sac.

          walther

That walther would serve me just right, if it wasnt about 300% over my budget.

Not to steal the thread, but I think it's fun to have people share their favorite .22LR pistols. I think since they're cheap, ammo is cheap, everyone should have one.... just in case.

I'm looking forward to some more replies. I don't think a $400 - $500 pistol with 5 inch barrel (Target model) would really quality for a 'cheap 22'.

              Small and flat?
I found an all-steel 95% Sterling .22LR auto at the last Glendale gun show for $65. Used and PPT, but it's a fun mouse gun.
It about the size of a Baby Browning or Colt Pony.
This is the same basic design as all the Ring of Fire pistols that followed later, except being made of steel instead of zinc castings, it is smaller and much stronger.
