    Question about my 92FS

This may sound like a stupid question but if I could get some assistance I would be grateful.

I'm in the process of ordering an SGS compensator and I need to supply the OD of the dust cover. Can someone tell me how to do this? From what I have been told, the dust cover is the area forward of the trigger guard.

I dont have anything to accurately measure this and any advice or suggestions would be helpful.

    Thanks

    Bob

Why do pharmaceutical company laboratories now use lawyers rather than lab rats for testing?
Lab personnel don't get as emotionally attached to lawyers. Lawyers do things rats won't.
Animal protection groups don't get nearly as excited.
    Some people actually LIKE rats.

Yes, the dust cover is the area in front of the trigger guard. If it were an M9A1 or some other model like a Glock 17, there would be a rail there. I have a comp on my 92 and I'm assuming you're purchasing it from a guy on the Beretta forum.

To accurately measure it, you can buy a cheap set of calipers from any hardware store. I bought a cheap pair of digital calipers from home depot.
