How did I do at 50y?

First time shooting a handgun in 4 years. I was shooting my new 229 in .357sig at 50 yards. It was a blast!

Thanks My buddy's grouping was like someone was shooting shotty at 25. He was at 25. I love the indoor range at San Leandro (first time ever at a indoor range).

Love it. Recoil is good, matter of fact followups were easy. I think it will serve very well in HD. Muzzle flash was a orange. I got looks when I first let it off. I only had 50 rounds so I only used one target.

yup.. my groupings at 10 yrds with my P229 shooting .40 look like that!

Offhand. being nearsighted with glasses. I think my glasses give me real life hax on aiming XD.

50 yards offhand, not too shabby!! Half the shooters out at my local range have larger groups at 15 yards.

Thats really good... My 15 yard group from Friday with my Commander .45 kinda looks like that. Of course it's me, not the gun...

That is good shooting. Some folks can't even hit paper at 15 yards.

I don't understand why anyone would be shooting a pistol at 50 yards. That is WAY BEYOND the effective radius of a pistol. I doesn't make any sense to me. Just sayin'
