I am not quite through 30 days since my last purchase, however there is a really good deal online that I am looking at. My question is, if my FFL is willing, could I purchase the gun, have it shipped to my FFL, have him hold on to it until my 30 days is up, then DROS it? Is it the initial DROS date that is the benchmark, the pickup date. or what? I hope this is possible so I don't lose out. Thanks

Initial DROS date.
Ask the FFL.ARCHIVED Calguns Foundation Wiki here: http://web.archive.org/web/201908310...itle=Main_Page
Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good! -
If your FFL is willing (call him first), sure he could hold it until the 30-24hr periods from your last DROS submittal time is up.I am not quite through 30 days since my last purchase, however there is a really good deal online that I am looking at. 30-day clock starts when the DROS is initially submitted.
As for if your FFL will hold it til your 30-days is up, just ask him. I haven't heard of many dealers tht wouldn't, expecially if they transfered you the first handgun.Jack
Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?
