Ruger 480

Hey everyone I was wondering if any one has shot and or hunted with the ruger 480 super blackhawk. I was considering purchasing one for boar hunting but no one can tell me anything about them. I was wondering about recoil as compared to a 44 as well as ballistics.

I had one, fired about 40 rounds through it and stuffed it in the back of the safe for a few years before I sold it to Ade.

It was a biter. It didn't kick as hard as a .500S&W, but it seemed that recoil was much sharper, compared to the smooth heavy recoil of the 500.
