    Mods and gunsmiths?

    Are there any recommended modification that is a must for a Sig p229r, also which gunsmith in the south bay do you guys trust performing the mods? I've already searched and tried to contact m24armorer, but he replied that he is no longer accepting work.

      i only believe in having work done by folks who really understand the action and how the gun is going to be used...range or HD/SD...so in CA, i'd only trust Scott at Apex Tactical in Morro Bay. Scott apprenticed at GrayGuns, in OR, who is the country's foremost Sig tuner

          The 229r IMHO is about as flawless as it gets, with normal use the trigger smooths up a bit.

              there are many who share this belief

              but i've never felt an action that couldn't be smoothed and lightened. i'm also partial to a reduced reset
