    WLA Colefire Pistol?

I am trying to get one of these pistols into the PRK:
    http://www.jgsales.com/product_info....oducts_id/3940

So I cant have the bare receiver sent to my local FFL as it wouldnt be on the CA DOJ safety list ~ correct?
So to get this gun then I'd need to get a magazine lock installed and have a "0" capacity mag inserted into the weapon before DROS starts ~ correct?
Would this put me in the clear to get this pistol or am I missing anything???

do I need to add some length to the barrel (muzzle brake or fake "can")? It comes with a 4" barrel from the factory... Do I need to make it at least 8"?

If it's not on the California "Safe Guns" list you can't have it shipped into the state.

I thought there was a "single-shot" zero capacity exemption? like the Master Piece Arms MAC-10 style pistols that PRKArms is selling now?

          FALSE.

There is always the single shot roster exemption. Barrel has to be 6" and OAL of 10" i believe.

Good luck with the mag release that seems to be the sticking point. I spoke with Henderson Defense about Californicating these and was told they don't have the time to develop a BB for them but would gladly ship one in if I could devise one and send it to them for installation.

          I gave up on these.

            I stand corrected....

I forgot about the exemption for single shot.

It would also need some sort of maglock fabricated for it, because the magwell is outside of the pistol grip.

ETA: Looks like this was already covered... so, yeah, hard (and expensive) to do...

Very interesting, I know someone asked if PRK can bring these in on their forum. They said they are looking into it. Hmm....

The last I called them about it (early Jan) - they had given up and told me it would be $1000 for a one-off mag button! So I dont think they are working on it any longer...

I wonder how many pre sale orders would be required to make this economically viable?
