    Taurus 605 Question

I am noticing that sometimes, when I am firing in DA, on the 3rd shot, cylinder would lock up, making it impossible for me to pull the trigger.

About 50% of the time, I can remedy it by going into SA. If that does not work, I have to open the cylinder and close it and it will work again.

I find this happening when I am going at a steady pace of one shot every half second to the full speed fire as fast as you can.

Is there something I am doing wrong?

Check the gap between cylinder and recoil plate, may be some residues, or possibly the cylinder is not even on all 6 chambers. My 605 got no problem at all, but my SW627 PC got that problem sometimes, then I have to clean the recoil plate, the gap is too small/precise.
    Do it yourself.

I checked that, but its new, not a round yet.

Cleaned the plate, which seemed to make a little bit of a difference, but the problem still lingers.
