Whats it compare to in magnum?
Hows it compare to the .50 AE
Hows it compare to the 10mm? Which has more stopping power? (in case of a black bear .

The .50gi ammo is a proprietary round only made by Guncrafter. Here is their round compared to average velocities of comparable Hornady ammo.

    .50GI 300gr. Guncrafter JFP -700 fps

    .50AE 300gr. Hornady XTP -1475 fps

    .500 Mag. 300gr. Hornady FTX -2075 fps

    10mm 200gr. Hornady HP XTP -1050 fps

It doesn't compare to any of the calibers you listed. It is a bigger, slower version of .45 is all. 10mm has it beat by quite a bit even.

Only use it has is a big cool factor

I'd go with a 10mm for pretty much anything in North America as a sidearm. Especially in a Glock 20, 15+1 rounds can be comforting if you stumble upon the wrong beast, 2 or 4 legged.
