    Bowling Pin Match

    this Saturday, Feb 12th at the San Gabriel Valley Gun Club - go past rifle range, down dirt road to the right of the long range benches to the combat range. It starts about 9 AM.

    Pin Madness - Test of Bowling Pin Savvy

    Scoring shall be time plus penalties: Standing Pin = +5 seconds, Fallen Pin Left on the table = +3 seconds. Procedurals = +5 seconds.

    Start position is start with gun in holster and hands off the firearm.

    Stage 1: Six pins on the shooting table at 12 yards. On the signal, the shooter shall draw and attempt to knock all six pins off the table. No reload requirements or shot limits. DON’T SHOOT THE TABLE. Shoot stage twice.

    Stage 2: Four pins at 12, 15,17 and 20 yards. On the signal, the shooter shall draw and attempt to knock all pins off their respective stands. No reload requirements or shot limits. Shoot stage twice.

    Stage 3: Six pins on the shooting table at 12 yards and four pins at 12, 15,17 and 20 yards. On the signal, the shooter shall draw and attempt to knock all six pins off the table then proceed to freestanding bowling pins. No reload requirements or shot limits. DON’T SHOOT THE TABLE. Shoot stage twice

        We will shoot from under the awning/range cover. The targets will be out in the open, though, so help in setting the pins back up will be appreciated!
