    Some range time

Went to a indoor range today (first time shooting indoors) I had the whole place to myself! 4 people got there when I was about to leave. It went smoothly except for when I shot one of the reloads I bought the next round failed to go into battery. apparently it was loaded inappropriately and the bullet never made it out of the barrel cleared it up and kept shooting Had fun and will be going back to that range.

all shots were taken at 15yrds

You mean you had a squib load? Did you notice it only by next round failing to go into battery? I as because had the next round did go you might not be here to tell us. I would contact the location you got them reloads from cause there may be more and if no one reports it, no recalls until the next person ends up hurt.

A squib load yes! That's the terminology I was looking for! I know it's dangerous and if I didn't know my gun so well I wouldn't have felt the difference when it failed to go into battery I'm thankful for that. I bought them off a calgunner who posted them up in the ammo for sale section. if its that serious I should also mention that another cartridge failed to feed because the bullet itself went further into the brass casing then it should have another also failed to fire even though it was clearly struck by the firing pin... both got tossed I believe he said he got the at the lax range or something like that
