My vote definitely goes to Neos. It is quite a unique design. It's easy to field strip, so you can teach your girl to clean after her range lesson. It has one of smallest grip for younger shooters or people like me with small hands. It also has the half slide design so it's easy to rack and load for shooters with weaker arms.

The biggest downside of Neos is the look. Many shooters can't stand the futuristic "ray gun" looks come with the package. I personally love it and since your girl just turn 11, it shouldn't be a problem to her neither.

I have known two P22 slide broke (one right in front of my eyes, another from my friend) due to mile usage. So I'm a bit bias against Walther P22. But it is a good looking 22. So if you wish to get your girl to familiar with a standard pistol, that might be a good reason to pick up a P22.

Gun Control - A theory espoused by some monumentally stupid people; who claim to believe, against all logic and common sense, that a violent predator who ignores the laws prohibiting them from robbing, raping, kidnapping, torturing and killing their fellow human beings will obey a law telling them that they cannot own a gun.

I think the P22 is probably a good choice if you want to teach someone. It operates more like a 'real' gun in terms of the controls, look, and feel. If you squint you can almost feel like the new james bond haha.
