      What issues?

In terms of size, it is comparable to a Glock 17.

The only con I can think of is the standard decocker/safety, which has wings that protrude quite a ways. That is easily solved by having the slim/stealth version installed, which turns it into a G (decock-only), regardless of whether it was originally an F (dedeock+safety) or a G.

The Px4 has excellent ergonomics, low recoil, and an excellent out-of-the-box trigger. I liked it so much that I have a pair of them now.

Below are before/after photos of the decocker/safety lever:

I have had absolutely no issues with mine.

        Lunde,
Nice pistol. What caliber is yours? How does the grip compare to a CZ/Baby Eagle (if you have any to compare)? I'm going to check a couple shops today.
I like the the fact that it has extra backstrap sizes, I was also looking at the S&W MP but I still like manual safeties. How about aftermarket parts availability, are they only from Beretta?

        Kilword,
What issues have you heard, are they common issues, or case by case?

I had a chance to finger a PX40, on Sat. I didn't like the slide safety my thumb didn't have a positive reach, I felt like I was thumb wrestling.
I did get to feel a M&P 9, the ergs where nice it felt better than the CZ75. I'll wait on the M&P 45 with the frame safety.

If you are not set on buying plastic, try the Beretta Cougar (used). The decocker/safety is longer and easier to actuate.

If you have small hands like me, it will work for you. I also have a full-size M&P, can't wait to try the compact version.

After looking at a lot of pistols, I got the PX in 9 for my house gun.
              I have a XD 9 Tactical, a Glock 35, 26, S&W 1911, 39.
It fit my hand, and by wife's. She liked it.
Shoots great. Put over 200 round of all types of ammo and no FTE, or FTF. Put a Streamlight TRL-2 on it and shoots great with it on it.
I wanted a double action with a safety for self defense. I live in the country and are more worried about 4 leg than 2 leg trouble.
If you can't shoot good, at least look good shooting

                Does it take 92FS mags?

If Dr. Lunde has two, I might have to look into buying one

One gunrag reviewer mentioned that due to the rotating barrel recoil system, he could actually feel the pistol torque around the barrel axis a bit when shooting it. Anyone able to confirm/contradict this? My BS detector pinged softly, but...
