    Need Calgunner's Advise!

    Calgunner gang,

I anxiously need your advise. I have a blue Colt 1991, hardly been used (approx. fired 150 rnds), replaced the stock plastic trigger w/ short Grieder Precision. Gun is pristine, have box and paper works.

I want to sell it because I am craving for a nice, I mean really nice revolver in the order of one of the new classic Smiths. Money is tight that is why I am thinking of the sell, to fund the buy.

Talk some sense into me, whether I should do it or not. I still have two 1911s, a Springfield Armory Standard and Mil-spec. The Mil-spec was ligthtly customized by the SA custom shop, while the Standard was lightly massaged by John Jardine back in 1991, so I am not selling the two SAs.

Help!!!! I can't sleep, I need your advise!

What kind of shape are your kidneys in?
There are 3 kinds of people in this world.
The wise, learn from the mistakes of others.
The smart, learn from their own mistakes.
The others, well......they just never learn.

It's tough to find a Colt in California these days. I have a Colt 1991 commander ORM and it has been the most reliable 1911 I've shot. If it were me, I might keep that one and sell one of the Springfields. That's just me though. Good luck with your decision.

Keep the Colt.........you'll regret selling it.

if you have more then one kid sell them, really just save all your change everyday for the next 10 years and buy it that way you still have the Colt.

Thieves are the lowest form of life out there, except for liberal politicians, of course, but that's redundant.

Thanks to one and all, I'll keep the Colt then, and just save for the next purchase.

                Cheers!
