I've heard +p is fine but +p+ is not. Hopefully someone else can confirm this.

I have used and loaded +P+ in 9mm and .45 ACP without issue. Personally I would not work on the high end in any factory barrel chambered in .40 but that is just me and my distrust of .40s in Glock chambers. For all I know they are fine but I'm not willing to push it.

Whats the velocity of .40 +P+?
I've recently been shooting My reloads in My Glock27.140 gr bear creek moly coated lead,6grains of unigue and a Factory barrel.no problemsat all.My velocity was 1010-1050 fps
I told this to My USPSA and IDPA "Mentor" He says that I'm too hot for comp.(145 power factor)
and I'll be changing to180 gr bullets w/less powder. But for now everything seems fine,no pressure sighn and flawless operation.

There's the rub: there is no published specification for what constitutes +P or +P+ AFAIK. If you really want to know the only thing I can suggest is to purchase factory +P+ and chrony it. But since +P refers to chamber pressure and not necessarily velocity that may not be of much help. You may be able to find more info in the reloading forum, I'm certain this topic has been discussed many times in there.

Glocks and XD's eat up that stuff.

Also factory +P rounds are generally higher quality with extra slipery cases that make them feed well

Glocks were created to be able to shoot sub machine gun ammo +P+

I have shot over 200+ rounds with out a problem

No 40 S&W +P that case is already at maximum pressure.

Winchester (IIRC) LE-only 9MM +P+ launched the Trijicon front sight off my G17 after approximately 60 rounds. That was the bolt on, not the factory staked version. There were no excessive pressure signs. That's the only failure I've ever seen or heard of from any +P+ ammo.
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

I have aftermarket barrels in all my major caliber Glocks, and have never had a problem with +P or +P+ level loads with those barrels

In a factory Glock barrel in any caliber I'd go no higher than +P, but I'm a worry wart.
The way some gunshop clerks spout off, you'd think that they invented gunpowder and the repeating rifle, and sat on the Supreme Court as well.
