    My first practical pistol match!!

This was so much fun, I can't believe it took me this long to get into competition shooting. It was a hand sweating, heart pounding experience, and I loved every second of it!

How did I do, all my shots hit cardboard, and most target had at least one 'A' hit.

Looks like fun. Wish there was one closer to the West side of LA.

For Youtube embedding just paste everything after the "=" between the [YOUTUBE] tags.
    i.e. "ec_-nPmZac8" in your case.

Oh my gosh! magic! Thanks for the tip. It was a blast and I feel like it was really valuable training if nothing else.

Looks like you had fun! I like the colored poppers.

Keep at it. Action shooting is super fun.

Isn't it fun and addicting? Good job especially since it was with a Sigma....(saw the description in youtube page)

Handloads: .40 S&W, 155GR FMJ, 5.0 Grains of Bullseye powder. I really like this load, slide locks back 100% of the time, no feeding issues, and recoil is nice and light.

As far as the sigma goes, With the 'just for fun' trigger springs removed it is a GREAT little gun! ~6 lb pull. In .40cal I have experienced 0 failures of any kind in over 5000 rounds. Just tonight I watched 2 USP mag base-plates explode on impact with the concrete, and I watched 3 failures to feed in a Glock 35 (I can't say it isn't the ammo's fault, I don't know) but it made me think .... I wonder why people pay more than $399 for a plastic framed pistol?

The pepper poppers were made of a rubbery-silicony-plastic, they kinda flopped down. They were a ***** to get adjusted correctly so they would fall when hit, one guy put about 10 rounds of 9mm in one and it didn't drop!

But yeah, action shooting is as much fun as driving fast.... and for me that says alot!

OK, we know what ammo.... what gun were you using?

Who cares if your shots were perfect.... the point in my opinion is that your out there getting it done.... BRAVO!!!

Is Piru to far for you? They run a couple of IDPA matches a month, steel match and an USPSA match.

There's a UPSPA match in Sylmar every month too.

I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.
