    Sig 556 pistol question

I have some old preban AR mags, just confirming, since the Sig 556 is a pistol, just like a glock or any other pistol that can take preban mag, I can use my mags correct?
Nevermind, I found the answer but will leave this post for those whom did not know:
Bullet button required because the magazine well is outside the pistol grip and it has a threaded barrel

And since, it needs a magazine locked, magazine capacity can not be greater than 10 rounds.
