    PC: Nighthawk T3 package

Price check, i'm sorry if i'm posting it in the wrong place, MOD my applogies I'm not sure where else to post it and the people here obviously know best.

I'm considering getting a full size GRP Recon and in order to do that I would need to sell the following :

Nighthawk T3 (has holster wear, but was made in Feb 2009)
Original factory grips + Gatorback VZ grips in Sniper Gray with Nighthawk Logo
4x Nighthawk mags, 2 stainless, 2 blued, 7 rounds each
2x Wilson combat 8 round extended mags 8 rounds each 1 blued, 1 stainless
Nighthawk custom Leather cowhide/shark finish "Stealth" holster (CCW holster) retail $150
Nighthawk custom Leather Companion holster retail $130

    Thanks for any direction/input guys!

Hmm, gun new is $2600 + 500 in extras.... even minus 500 bux for wear ($250 for Nighthawk to fully refinish) & being 1 year old.... Was hoping closer to 2500 but I still need to decide if I can part with it...

A little word of advice, I have seen it and it is happening now to me as I have a NightHawk PII for sale.

High end 1911's are not the easiest thing to get rid of. I am selling my $3000 for $1995 and I am getting a ton of tire kickers, but everyone want to either trade something for it (and of course they want full price for their item in the trade), or they are nitpicking any little thing they can find to get me to lower the price even further.

So be prepared to sit on it a bit and get hassled to death.
I think it can be confirmed that an alien xenomorph is absolutely no match for good ole' Alabama black snake!

        and

If you're in a survival movie and the hot blond twists her ankle and can't walk, you damn well figure a way to carry her. If it's a dude, you shake his hand and say "best of luck".

Especially in this economy. People don't have spare cash.

If you can, hang on to your custom guns. It is going to be hard to get even 85% of your purchase price on a mint gun. People start by offering you 50-70% of your asking price. Try selling it after 3 or 5 or however many years it takes for the economy to rebound.

Things were selling like hot cakes pre Obama. Now, we are in the throes of significant depreciation in the used firearms market.

I hear ya & appreciate the advice... I would not sell the package for under 2400 most likely & am talking myself out of the GRP recon anyways......My T3 is probably just as accurate and just in a slightly smaller size which can be nice most of the time....

On the other side, a lot of people paid a full retail price + CA state tax on custom 1911 instead of getting it online from reputable dealer. So, trying to recover those money would be problematic.

After having sold quite a few items here and on other forums, the best thing is to price it fairly and just sit back and be patient. It could take a month to sell. And yes, you'll get a ton of lowballers.

That's the whole thing... I don't want to sell it unless I can get the GRP I want and maybe put 500 in my pocket.... T3 is a more expensive firearm and I would be paying around $1800-1900 for the GRP I want (used of course)...

So that is the main reason for posting this, if 2400-2500 was out of the question for this whole setup then I would probably forget even the idea..

Thanks for all the advice !
