Ammo Recommendation for XD 45 Compact

Would like to know what other members w/ an XD 45 Compact is using. I am thinking about trying the Federal HST 230gr 45acp +P, anyone have any experience with this in their XD 45 Compact?

So far it seems like they eat whatever you feed them.

It will eat ANYTHING and beg for more! At least, mine does! I use everything. For HD they are loaded with Hornady 230grain +p ammo.

Are you looking for plinking or HD/SD?

During the break in period and general range shooting, I used CCI, PMC, Federal Magtech, UMC and Load X reloads.

For HD/SD, I used Golden Sabers. Silvertips, Gold Dots and HSTs. The XD ate it all and wanted more. Lightened my wallet too.
