Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

An FAQ is necessarily a SUMMARY - the original article of the series includes the information you think is missing.

There comes a point where the desire for completeness resolves to a repetition of the entire Dangerous Weapons Control Laws.
ARCHIVED Calguns Foundation Wiki here: http://web.archive.org/web/201908310...itle=Main_Page

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

that exception is on the DOJ's website.....not trying to rain on your parade but it's been fairly common knowledge for a while now. I say fairly because not everyone knows, but as you yourself found out, it doesn't take much looking to find out about it.

Most civilization is based on cowardice. It's so easy to civilize by teaching cowardice. You water down the standards which would lead to bravery. You restrain the will. You regulate the appetites. You fence in the horizons. You make a law for every movement. You deny the existence of chaos. You teach even the children to breathe slowly. You tame.

I have to agree with this being know and plus if you go to a dealer most have some selection of single action revolvers that are brand new. Most people who want off roster pistols want HK 45, Sig Elites, Kel tec etc. not single action revolvers.

Yeah, for CA dealers and buyers...

I added it so that I could direct out-of-state dealers that single actions were OK (Exempt from Roster) in CA. The DOJ website says "certain single actions", so the out-of-state dealers were asking what "certain" meant... So I had to spell it out with the CA PC reference... That's all...

I've actually been able to change a few "NO CA SALES" dealers to "OK TO SHIP TO CA"...
