Did I tell you about the time that a guy in competition slapped a reload into his G34 magwell, prepared to re-engage the target, and then the mag dropped out.

So he picks it up, puts it back in the gun, and it drops out again.

This is why you shouldn't mix your G19 and G17/34 mags prior to the match...

Are you saying that he was trying to use G19 mag in his G34 for competition?

He's saying that a G19 mag accidentally worked its way into the shooter's stash of G17 mags. The G19 mag looks just like the G17 mag, only it's about half an inch shorter. Very easy to confuse the two if you're not paying attention. So the shooter didn't realize, slipped the G19 mag into his range bag thinking it was a G17 mag, and disaster struck.

Well, it was too entertaining from my perspective to be considered a disaster (but I'm sure he felt otherwise). It was sort of like Monty Python meets Rob Leatham.

Oh I'm not saying it ain't funny. I can only imagine seeing the guy's face go "WTF!?" and slam the mag back in only to have it drop back out. Hahaha good stuff.
