Frequently back ordered but you can stagger orders and after a couple months it seems to flow nicely.

You can usually get 20 bucks off or free shipping from them as well. I usually order 500 at a time at ~$103.00.

I'm new to buying ammo online. Never have before, but I can see the $$ savings in doing so. I don't know the legalities however, and I just went on one site that someone recommended earlier on this thread, and that place said they don't deliver to the city of Los Angeles. Is that site specific, or am I screwed all around because I live in LA?

Palmetto State Armory (PSA) had cheap PMC 9mm 115gr ammo a fews days ago. Here is another deal. You can order the same PMC 9mm 115gr from Sportsman's Guide (www.sportsmansguide.com). The regular price is $11.37 per 50-rd box (not the 124 gr). For a club member, it is only $10.80 per 50-rd box. Actually it is better if you are not currently a club member. You can sign up to be a member and get (1) the cheaper member price, (2) free shipping, (3) $20 coupon for future use within the next 6 months. You can also pay the ammo in 4 installments using their Buyer's Club 4-Pay Plan if you are a member. So, if I calculate it correctly, the price for 1K rds is ($10.80 x 20) - ($20 coupons) = $196.

Sportsman Guide also has decent PMC 45ACP 230gr. The regular price is $19.77 per 50-rd box. For a club member, it is only $18.78 per 50-rd box. Not as cheap as PSA a few days ago (something like $16.95 per box).

BUT, at a certain unknown limit price (e.g., if you buy 1K of the 9mm and 1K of the 45ACP), you don't get the free shipping when you sign up to be a member. You still get the cheaper member price and $20 coupon.

Last time I ordered, the PMC ammo mentioned above didn't last long - maybe 1 week and half or less. Good luck!
