    Sig 229 Tac Light

I am looking into getting a tactical light for my Sig 229. Does anyone have any suggestions on one that is bright, not to bulky, and reasonably priced if possible? Thanks!!

Streamlight TLR-1 often 90, but sometimes around 80. There are 2 models, the newer one is much brighter.

Head on over to botach tactical.com and enter the word "stimulus" in the coupon code box and its(streamlight trl-2) yours for $202 instead of the 225-275 everyone else has it at.... The insight technologies xti procyon(125 lumens) is also an awesome little light I bought one because of its strobe feature and I love it, its on my nght stand gun now (msrp $120-$165)

Yes the new C4 models are much brighter than the old ones. A friend just got a new TLR-1 C4 and we put it up against his old TLR-1 and it has much more beam throw and is a much brighter white light..

I think the TLR-1 offers the best performance for the price. I was very satisfied with mine. If you wait until some vendors have a sale, you can pick one up for about $90-95 shipped, brand new.

I haven't decided yet, but I'm leaning towards the TLR-1. Thank you all for your input.
