search feature not working

Can someone pls tell me why the search feature isn't working for me. I'm searching on "Sig," so some results should pop up, but nothing.
Also the same thing is happening to me on xdtalk.
Could it be my PC?

1) CG's search sucks, it is a known fact

2) it won't work with "less than 4 letters keywords"

3) use google instead..... eg. "sig site:calguns.net"

The limitation on the search feature is usually the forum software. The shorter the search query the more results it will find so it will put more usage on the server and MYSQL database.

i just use http://www.google.com/cse/home?cx=01...78:pzxbzjzh1zk to search Calguns. it works great.

the link to this is called "CGN Google Search" and it's located to the right of "Sponsors" and above "OLL Assembly Guide" in the toolbar where the CA Flowcharts are located.
