    XdM compact

    i was in H&H Guns in OK city a few days ago. they had a couple s/a xdm's in a 4" barrel. the gun looked sweet. i think i might have to buy that as my next pistol. next time i get over there ill take some pics and post them for all you gun porn junkies.

                          Is the XD M version approved in california? I was told that it wasn't going to be approved since we already have the regular xd version.

                                  it can't be approved, it doesn't have a magazine disconnect and they'll probably never put one on, not that im associated with them but even the regular XDs don't have magazine disconnects, don't really see the need of them, just stupid CA laws

                                      They don't make a 10 round magazine for it. Only way you can get one is if you're a LEO or if someone moves into the state with one.

                                              This is a newbi question. Although I've own a older 9mm handgun, what is the magazine disconnect?
