    Am I wrong?

    Didn't this get beat back?

This is listed in the new 2010 Vehicle Code & Related Laws.

Handgun ammunition vendor must obtain thumb print from ammunition purchaser.

Ammunition cannot be accessible to purchaser without vendor assistance
Records of sale must be kept for 5 years law enforcement has access to records.

I thought the whole no mail order ammo thing was beat back? How can these regs (which were sent to PG&E offices) be enforced without banning mail order ammo?

Summary This document summarizes the new vehicle code laws for 2010 that were signed into law in the 2009 legislative session. There were not a lot of new vehicle code laws this year because the legislature was working mainly on the budget issues.

Mail order ban goes into effect Feb 2011.
The rest of 962 became effective last weekend.

I guess it is still to be fought in court, I think that is what I remember.

If that ever were to go into effect I wonder what that means for hand loaders?

Nothing, unless you sell your ammo. Again, read the wiki link.
