I have a P226 in 9mm - I'm toying with the idea of getting a couple more handguns.
SIg have a bundle of different numbers and models out there. Are they all designed in a similar manner to the P226 in terms of ease of stripping and simplicity? I've seen used Sig's in shotgun news available cheap - ($300 or so, can't remember the model) presumably ex military. Are all Sig's reliable and solid, or are there any I should stay away from?

Most of my dozen other Sigs were post 2004 production Sigs and some just werent as reliable as the older or I like to think, pre 2004 built Sigs. The QA/QC just qasn't there. They look pretty at a glance but noticed that there were always things that should not have gotten out of the factory, per say. I refuse to buy newer production Sigs now but you can always find great deals on older used Sigs.
