    Single shot pistol

Been trying to find out if single shot pistols like the contender or loan eagle are legal in CA. Just about the only thing I have found for sure is that the 45/410 def is not. Other than that cant find anything conclusive saying they are or are not.

Yes, they are legal to transfer through a dealer as a roster-exempt handgun as long as they meet the dimensional requirements.

12133(b) The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to a single-shot pistol with a barrel length of not less than six inches and that has an overall length of at least 10 1/2 inches when the handle, frame or receiver, and barrel are assembled.
As you mentioned a .45LC/.410 handgun is not legal in CA because CA considers it an short barreled shotgun.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?
